As an artist, I strive to put a modern twist on a tried and true look by seeking alternative perspectives and utilizing tasteful post-processing techniques such as Black & White, Retro Film Emulation, and Sepia toned images in various styles. My goal with both portraits and weddings is to avoid the appearance of "posed" static-looking pictures through careful attention to camera positioning and background selection. When shooting weddings in particular, I lean towards a non-intrusive, photojournalistic approach, capturing genuine events and emotions as they happen instead of getting in the way or trying to re-create the romance.
